Professional Development

Learning is a lifelong endeavor. We created the Stanford Center for Education and Professional Development (SCEPD) to meet your educational needs and promote the highest quality in patient care by providing state-of-the-art professional development programs for the healthcare community. The SCEPD has also been accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.

Building Stronger Leaders

The Hospital also operates the Stanford Hospital & Clinics Leadership Academy, which was established to foster the growth, development, and success of our organization’s leaders. This six-month program is open to all employees at the management level and above and features a mix of theoretical components and hands-on training taught by senior executives and renowned experts from inside and outside our facility. Central areas of focus include:
