Nadine N.

Vascular Access Nurse

Nadine began as a nurse in oncology, but eventually transitioned to a specialty in vascular access. “I became very involved in vascular access. It is such an essential tool for patient care and medication delivery, and the efforts to improve outcomes were quickly growing.” Thirty years later, Nadine continues to devote her energy and brainpower to improving this field. Her own efforts have not gone unnoticed. Her work has energized her industry and led to her receiving the 2010 Herbst Award from the Association for Vascular Access (AVA).
